- File contents: the photos, video or audio you upload
- File metadata: name, size, type, upload time
- Text: the caption you write (optional)
- Passcode: if you set one (stored hashed)

- IP address: for security monitoring and abuse prevention
- Browser information: type and version
- Device information: operating system, device type
- Access logs: time, page, action
- Cookie data: to keep you signed in and improve the experience

- Payment records: time, amount, order number
- No card details: payments are handled by Stripe; we never store your card number
2. How we use it
- Providing the service: handling uploads, storage and sharing
- Account management: your account, membership and storage quota
- Security: detecting and preventing abuse, fraud and illegal activity
- Moderation: monitoring and removing violating content
- Improvement: analysing usage to improve features and performance

- Notices: telling you about things like expiring content or membership

3. Cookies

Keep you signed in and make basic features work. These cannot be disabled.
๐ Language preference cookie
Remembers the interface language you picked (English or Chinese). It holds only that one value, contains nothing that identifies you, and plays no part in signing in. Without it, every visit simply starts in the default English interface.

Count visits so we can see what to improve.

- Access control: administrator access is tightly limited and logs are reviewed

- Files: Cloudflare R2 (globally distributed storage)
- Database: Supabase (managed secure cloud servers)
- Servers: Vercel (SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliant)
โ ๏ธ Disclaimer: we do our best to protect your data, but nothing transmitted over the internet can be guaranteed 100% secure. Do not upload extremely sensitive or confidential information.
5. Retention and deletion
Automatic deletion
- Free accounts: according to the retention you set (up to 3 days)
- Members: retention can be unlimited, but violating content is removed at any time
- Burn after reading: deleted as soon as the first visitor has seen it
Account data
- Active accounts: retained
- Inactive accounts: may be deleted after 180 days without a sign-in
- Deleted accounts: all data permanently erased after 30 days
โน๏ธ You can delete your content or your account from settings at any time. Deletion cannot be undone.
6. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:

Speeds up delivery and protects the site. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.
๐๏ธ Supabase (database and sign-in)
Stores accounts and content records. See the Supabase privacy policy.
๐๏ธ GIPHY (GIFs in chat)
GIFs sent and displayed in chat come from GIPHY, and your browser requests the images from GIPHY directly. GIPHY therefore sees your IP address โ both the senderโs and the recipientโs. Search terms are relayed through our server, so GIPHY does not see who searched. No such requests happen unless you use the GIF feature. See the GIPHY privacy policy.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties; please read their policies.
7. Your rights
Under applicable privacy law (such as the GDPR and CCPA) you have the following rights:
- Access: see what information we hold about you
- Rectification: correct information that is wrong or incomplete
- Erasure: ask us to delete your personal information and account
- Portability: export your data in a structured format
- Objection: object to certain kinds of processing

8. Children
